JuiceCom Cartoons! (Custom
Cartoons UK)
|
| JuiceCom Cartoons! was established by Jamie
Sale way back in the old days of 2005. The style is fairly
similar to that of cartoons you would see on television. |
 |
JuiceCom prides itself with its excellent customer service. They
have a great eye for detail and only want the best for their customers.
Their customer database stores every E-mail and every bit of information
regarding their order(s).
The website was first launched in summer 2007. They have since
replaced the old website with something a little bit better (yes,
this one!) The goal was to make it more customer friendly. The
old site lacked that a bit.

The Artist
|
 |
This is our
primary artist, Jamie Sale. He has been drawing cartoons
for many years and his style is strongly influenced by cartoons
such as The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, Looney Tunes,
Disney and 2dTV.
Jamie is one of the original members of the JuiceCom team...
Well, he is the original member.
Without him, we wouldn't be here. His abilities with cartooning
stretch from doing the caricatures right through to animation
and production.
This boy is destined for a bright future. (we hope) |

How Is It Done?
|
So this is how we make your cartoon, in as much detail as possible.
We will use the caricature of Jamie to give us an example.
Firstly, we use the photo's that you send us, and our artist
will make several sketches until they are satisfied. The first
of the three pictures below is the sketch. Using professional
paint software, the image is then scanned and digitised. This
basically means we are tracing the image with a vector tool.
This is shown in the second picture below. We then fill the
image with colour. The colours are carefully selected from the
customers photo's and are then processed digitally to create
the most accurate matches possible. We add the finishing touch
to the drawing by shading it and adding a subtle shadow. This
is shown in the third and final image. Finally, we print, mount
and then frame the cartoon. Then we send it off to the customer.
